What an absolutely hilarious and brilliant book! We all loved this tale of a girl who is perfectly perfect just the way she is! The story is really cleverly written – it starts off gently but quickly takes an unexpected and really funny turn (or perhaps not so unexpected for those of us lucky to have a Gorgeous Girl in our family…!) The wonderful and colourful artwork really helps bring the story to life – with lots of really funny details. The author Amelie Stratton has written a fantastic and heart-warming story with an important and positive message about being true to yourself, which we all really enjoyed. Amelie is a talented writer to watch for the future – we can’t wait for her next book!
