Free Teaching Resources
We really want children and teachers to get the most out of the books we produce. So working closely with teachers we have produced some free resources for the classroom to use across a range of topics including English, art, science and PSHE.
The resources suggest some good discussion topics, some ideas for creative writing, lots of questions you can ask the children on the text plus some fun exercises! Our hope is that the resources will engage children with the stories and also help them to investigate their own creative skills.
Use the links below to download the material produced by an active primary school teacher with over 15 years of experience. Check back soon as we are aiming to produce more!
If you are interested in us coming into your school to read any of our books please get in touch! We do not charge a fee!

Mark Reading Toadpig to Schoolchildren
Review from a Headteacher at Horndean C of E School, Hampshire
Mark’s visit to our school allowed the children an exciting experience to hear the story of Toadpig read aloud while finding out the secrets hidden within each page. The children were engaged and delighted by hearing the story told by the author and had many questions about how it was written which Mark was able to answer clearly. Mark also offered the children the chance to look at books he has written at different stages, demonstrating to the children the importance of planning, writing and editing their own writing. Mark has been a fantastic returning guest at our school and we are already looking forward to his next visit!
